Media Recording, Content License & Consent to Record and Collect

You understand and agree that our sessions may be recorded, including live group coaching, office hours, onboarding calls, support interactions, and any media you submit (e.g., homework clips, screenshots, messages) (“Recordings” and “Submissions”).

License You Grant

You grant [John Walton Online Dog Training] (“Company”) a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, display, and perform the Recordings and Submissions—in whole or in part—for training, quality assurance, product improvement, and marketing/advertising across any media now known or later developed.

This includes the right to use your name, likeness, voice, city, dog’s name/likeness, and statements in connection with such uses.

You waive any right to inspect or approve finished materials and acknowledge no compensation is due for these uses.

Ownership and Warranties

  • You retain ownership of your Submissions; Company owns Company-created Recordings.
  • You represent you have all rights and permissions to grant this license, and that your Submissions do not infringe any third-party rights.

Privacy, Opt-Out, and Removals

  • If you prefer we do not use your materials for public marketing, email [[email protected]] with subject “Marketing Opt-Out.”
  • We will honor opt-out requests prospectively; previously created/public assets may continue.
  • We will make commercially reasonable efforts to remove future use upon request where feasible.

⚠️ Operational/training use (e.g., internal reviews, support QA) may continue even if you opt out of public marketing.

Minors and Third Parties

  • You agree not to include minors or third parties in Submissions without consent.
  • If a minor appears, you represent you are the parent/legal guardian and grant consent on their behalf.

Release

You release and discharge Company from any and all claims arising out of the permitted use of the Recordings and Submissions, including claims for defamation, infringement of privacy, or rights of publicity.

No Obligation

Company has no obligation to use any Recording or Submission.
